Israel,
Galilée,
White wine, or I should rather say golden wine considering the colour. It obviously has a certain amount of sweetness judging from its quite opulent texture and viscosity. Beautiful nose, really perfumed here. Great intensity purity of fruit. I get a lot of I would say grapey notes; like fresh grapes, or sweet dried grapes, with a lot of honey, really fine spices like dried spices, there is also a floral component like rose petals, really intriguing and inviting. Beautiful texture on the palate. The wine is marked by a fairly high sweetness, but I think this is balanced by that slight spiciness in the background. Quite mild and rounded acidity as well, but a lushes texture, plenty of that sweet yellow fruit; like apricot, pineapple, everything with a touch of honey. Beautifully lingering and spicy finish. So truly a great sweet wine.
