Dense dark inky colour with a purple hue. Pure nose, perfumed, ripe and deep with layers of dark fruit, blackberry, cassis, cherry and some stony notes, well-concealed oak and a mild spiciness in the background. Tremendous concentration on the palate, very dense without heaviness, a fresh backbone, plenty of finely grained tannins, crushed dark fruit with floral and finely spicy hints, really massive and muscular with an incredibly long finish and wonderful purity and stoniness. Despite its youth really tempting but should keep developing for several decades...
