Weingut Manfred Weiss – Sauvignon Blanc – 2015
Burgenland

Austria,
Burgenland,
Quite low colour intensity, almost with a hint of pink. There is a slight presence of CO2. The nose is pure, very youthful. With hints of green fruit, like apple, pear. There is an herbal spiciness and a lot of citrus. The palate is on the lighter side, with a good bite. There is a youthful acidity there. Quite a lot of extract, like grapefruit and lemon zest. Flavours of rather white fleshed fruit such as pear, apple and quince. Youthful and fruity finish. Quite accessible now. It shows its youth due to a still presence of CO2 and should keep within the coming few years.
