Austria,
Burgenland,
Beautiful golden colour, fine clarity, quite deep nuance. The nose has some evolution. Quite high level of ripeness here. Botrytis effected for sure, with some spicy notes of saffron and almond. Then we can add layers of pineapple, mango, quite tropical fruit and some dried spices. There is a hint of nuttiness but I do not think this has any oak influence. The palate has a level of sweetness. I would say this is more of a Auslese or Beerenausles at most. Not the most sticky or sweet style. Well-balanced by a good degree of freshness. Very attractive yellow fruit there. Well-balanced it does have some maturity and evolution. I think this drinks well now but much more for a sweet wine at the beginning of the meal or with cheese. I do not think it has enough sweetness for dessert. Yeah, fine example with good balance, good freshness. Some development already and it presents itself quite well today.
