Austria,
Niederosterreich,
Developed colour here, with a light ruby nuance during slightly orange tawny towards the rim showing some evolution. Very fine nose, elegant, with a slight meatiness. Sweet red berries, raspberry, red currant. There is a discreet hint of wood, mild spiciness. Quite intense with a certain maturity and complexity. It is a medium weight with a polished and rounded texture. There is very finely grained tannin in the background, adding a hint of cocoa powder. Fine spiciness underneath, I would call this quite Austrian spiciness with pepper, ginger and clove. Very elegant fruit quite long finish. Elegant and flavour intense at the same time. There is really no hard edges. I think this is a very good moment to drink this even though it will keep for the coming four, five, six years. Depending on what style of wine you like. Fine example with good balance, polished structure and good level of freshness.
