Austria,
Niederosterreich,
Medium deep colour intensity here. Lemony yellow with a good brightness. A lot of expression on the nose. First of all, I think very Austrian with that distinct spiciness; like white pepper, grapefruit, some wild herbs and quite an abundance of ripe stone fruit, yellow berries. Very good bite on the palate. Combining yellow fruit with stony minerality. Good extract and grip. Good biting freshness on the palate with lemon zest. Just about ripe fruit. Good purity on the finish. Very long, lingering and salivating. Really elegant wine, yet, with a good pleasure and flavour intensity.
