Dark ruby core but a tawny rim. The nose has some evolution and complexity - dried cherry, tobacco, cedar wood and fine spices. Good bite on the palate, youthful but well integrated tannin/acidity, elegant red fruit, a fine spiciness and long, lingering finish.
