Greece,
Peloponnese,
Medium intense ruby-red colour with some evolution. Fresh nose. Good purity of fruit here. With notes of dark plum, dark cherry, no oak. Some fresh almond and almost like a hint of something sweet like orange zest. Very nice and juicy palate here. Medium towards full, it does have good volume, but the texture is quite rounded. There is a lot of tannin, but quite grainy. However, you do feel them on the finish. Certainly a style that has fine ageing potential. Now it appears young but I would say fully drinkable particularly with richer food. Those tannin should really do their job. I like it. Attractive juicy fruit, dark cherry, plum. Quite long on the finish. Good grip, good purity, modern vinification. Discreet if any oak.
