Rather dark ruby colour with a purple hue. The nose displays some new oak and toast with sweet red berries, cherry and plum. The palate shows pleasing nuance and concentration with a modest extraction, still some oak presence but fine layers of spicy fruit, ripe tannin and underlying freshness with a long lingering finish.
