Light ruby red colour with an orange/tawny hue. The nose is mature and intense with truffle, smoke, tobacco and wild berry fruit. The palate is rather dense, still a tannic presence but no hard edges, chocolate praline and sweet red fruit with a long and spicy finish. Good complexity and drinkability.
