Deep garnet color. The nose exhibits a slight hint of oak with pepper, dry spices, wild herbs, cassis, and red berries with tobacco leaf. The palate is dense, still a slight youthful tannic bite but no hard edges, generous young fruit with a fresh acidity underneath, long and vigorous finish.
