Medium deep ruby red colour with a mature rim. The nose is evolved and complex offering fine wood, tobacco, ginger, clove and ripe red berry notes. The palate is dense, still with a youthful bite with plentiful but ripe tannin, well-balanced freshness and an aged complex spiciness with a long and lingering finish. A fine mature example with nice drinkability today.
