Marchesi di Barolo – Sarmassa – 2009

Medium deep ruby red. Some toasted notes on the nose, a whiff of vanilla, sweet red fruit, cherry and praline notes. Still a rather youthful texture with a firm backbone, good freshness and elegant red fruit, fairly long finish, should develop well.
