Inky dark core and a lighter ruby rim. Floral and dark fruit nose with hints of violet, cassis, tobacco and fine spices. The palate is dense, close to massive, yet balanced with a good freshness, youthful but ripe tannin, layers of purple dark fruit and a long finish. an example still needing a few years to open.
