France,
Bordeaux,
Quite dense core, ruby with a slightly lighter rim, still appearing youthful. Pure nose, showing off some floral notes; rather sweet fruit there, sweet plum, cassis, tobacco and fine wood. Good density on the palate, dense core of fruit, finely grained tannin; a touch of cocoa powder, nice chocolaty touch there. Wine still keeps within a quite medium-bodied frame but there’s a good density of fruit there, a great deal of freshness, elegant dark fruit, plum, cassis. Well-integrated fruit and a long clean finish. Still with a slight tannic presence on the finish; it’s still a youthful wine that deserves one or two years to get rid of that slight tannic sensation. Very good potential for further aging.
