Medium deep ruby colour with an orange hue. Fragrant nose with some maturity and complexity with tobacco, cedar wood, red fruit, praline and kirsch. Good grip on the palate, medium body and high flavour intensity, rich but rounded tannins, a fresh backbone, and mature red fruit flavours with spicy and tobacco notes. Grippy and long finish, nice layers and complexity.
