Garnet core and a ruby rim. Some evolution on the nose, dry spices, pepper, mild oak, dried cherry and plum aromas. Good harmony on the palate, seemingly sweet fruit balanced by a fresh acidity, still a tannic presence but no hard edges, spicy red fruit and tobacco flavours with balanced oak and a long lingering finish.
