Hammel – La Dîme Vignes Blanches – 2014
Geneve

Switzerland,
Geneve,
White wine with a quite pale straw colour, slightly green nuance. Quite generous nose, fairly intense there with some hints of rather white fleshed fruits such as apple pear, with some herbal notes. Lime and lemon zest, a touch of melon and no noticeable oak. Good grip on the palate. A classically bone dry. With a rather elevated acidity. Youthful and zesty, with a good grip. Quite on the light-bodied side, but with good flavour intensity, purity of fruit and tension. Fairly long finish. Still appears a bit youthful and restrained perhaps. It should definitely develop over the coming years. In terms of style, as a gastronomic, classically dry wine, it should really do the work quite well.
