Hammel – La Dîme Sauvignon Blanc – 2014
Geneve

Switzerland,
Geneve,
Pale colour, light straw with a green hue. The nose is showing a nice purity, rather non-aromatic variety, more in the direction of Chasselas in my mind. With some hints of lemon, lime, with some herbal and mineral notes. Bone dry palate, with a good level of freshness. Still really youthful, with quite crisp texture there. Lighter bodied in terms of style, but with good purity of fruit. Those zesty notes of lemon, lime. Medium towards long aftertaste. No oak noticeable. A wine that should be preferably enjoyed I think, in its youth.
