Medium deep ruby turning towards tawny. Fine perfume with a hint of oak, cherry, red berries, white pepper and mild spices. Still a youthful grip on the palate, red fruit flavours with pepper, ginger and clove, a fresh backbone and a rather long finish. A youthful example still needing some time to shed the tannin and open. Drink from 2022.
