Dense dark core with a rusty rim. Mature nose offering leather, dried fruits, walnut, tobacco, vanilla and wood in a traditional style. The palate is mature with pronounced wood flavours, vanilla, sweet fruit and mild extract, some dried mushroom and prune flavours with a rather long finish. A bit on the woody side but nicely made in a traditional style otherwise.
