Intense dark ruby core and a lighter rim. Sweet nose of prune and dried cherry, some balsamic notes and leather. A hint of new oak on the palate, roasted and vanilla flavours dominating, dried fruit notes, high acidity, still a tannic bite and a rather long but tight finish.
