France,
Burgundy,
Red wine, transparent, ruby red, rather youthful. Elegant nose, floral, with delicate red fruit. Fine spices, some nutmeg, gentle hints of ginger, sweet red fruit like wild raspberry. Palate is youthful with a good flavor intensity. It’s a medium weight, but nice flavour intensity there. Discrete oak, giving off some notes of vanilla, with fresh sour red berries. Nice volume. Very good persistence, still youthful with a fresh acidity, very vibrant, elegant with delicate red fruit. Certainly a wine of quality, something I would like to age for sure. I suppose two more years would open it up a little bit more, we would get some more aromatic complexity and roundness on the palate; but if you insist, you can already with a slight aeration enjoy it now. Very good.
