Lavaux

Switzerland,
Lavaux,
Youthful colour, pale straw with a green tinge. Fresh nose, quite aromatic with fresh pear, quince, grapefruit, and some nutty notes of fresh almond. There’s a nice structure; another wine which is based more on medium mellow acidity, but bone-dry with a slight phenolic presence that gives a lift - so good sense of freshness in the end. Well distributed fruit, quite discreet and youthful still; fresh pear notes, with lemon and almond. No evident oak. A clean, fresh, medium towards long finish.
