Dark garnet core and a ruby hue. Ripe and intense nose offering some herbal bouquet garni notes with cassis, dark plum, tobacco and mild oak. The palate shows good density with a texture starting to soften, lush dark berry flavours with some oak derived butterscotch and spice, ripe and warm supported by a fine level of acidity with a long persistency.
