France,
Bordeaux,
Inky dark purple colour. Nice purity on the nose with fine hints of oak and butterscotch underneath, ripe and pure fruitiness with some stony notes, wet tobacco, cassis, plum and crushed berries. The palate is dense and weighty with fine proportions, finely layered with fresh cassis flavours, grainy and polished tannin with finely integrated oak. The finish is long and muscular, a stylish wine, certainly with high ripeness but underlined by a healthy freshness all along.
