Château Pesquié – Quintessence – 2015

Ventoux
MEDAILLE-TASTED-90-2024
France,
Rhone Valley,
Dark ruby with a purple core. Meaty and intense nose with some new oak, roasted coffee, violet, dark plum, blackberry and aniseed. The palate is rather dense, young texture with tight but ripe tannin, fresh acidity giving a lift to the floral dark fruit, spicy notes of aniseed and liquorice, dense and long finish with meaty notes. Good potential here.
