Inky dense purple core and hue. Generous and ripe nose offering a wealth of ripe dark fruit, crème de cassis, black cherry and new oak with fine coffee and mocha notes. The palate is dense and concentrated with fine proportions, modest extraction, yet plenty of finely grained tannins and a fresh acidity underneath the unctuous dark fruit, powerful yet not heavy with a very long and pure finish.
