Medium deep ruby red colour. The nose shows red currant, cherry, dried herbs and aniseed. The palate is on the fuller side, fresh red fruit, discreet oak, a mild spiciness and a rather long finish. Youthful but with ripe tannin in a traditional less oaked style with good purity.
