Dark garnet red colour. Youthful aromas showing some new oak, dark plum and cassis with some meaty notes, aniseed and liquorice. A classic medium bodied structure with high tannin/acidity, rather discreet fruit, some gamey notes, dry spices and pepper, medium to long but a bit austere finish. A classic style needing long ageing.
