Dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Some new oak on the nose, dark berries, plum, cassis and cocoa bean. Nice density with ripe dark fruit, finely tuned oak, settled tannin and layered dark fruit, cassis, coffee bean and a long dense finish. Nice drinkability already but potent for longer ageing.
