France,
Bordeaux,
Medium deep intense ruby-red colour. Classic nose here, I would say no evident oak. We have quite sweet fruit, red plum, red currant, some slight herbal spiciness, a whiff of leather. Medium weight on the palate, I would talk about a classic texture here, still with quite pronounced tannins. High acidity, sweet red fruit like plum, red berries, a slight herbal spiciness, and a medium towards long finish. I would call this a traditional style, well-made, well-balanced, but it just should deserve another 2-3 years in the cellar to open up and round off the edges.
