Rather dark colour with a purple hue. Pure nose offering some butterscotch, a hint of oak with red and dark berry notes. The palate is on the fuller side with sweet fruit and fine oak flavours supported by a fresh acidity, quite high but balanced tannin with good length. Should age well.
