Dense purple core. Fragrant nose offering ripe dark fruit, cassis, violet, plum, fine oak, tobacco and mild spices. The palate is dense with young but ripe tannin, fine oak, digest dark fruit, a fresh backbone of acidity, good length but still a bit tight and unresolved needing time.
