Inky dark purple towards black. The nose displays some new oak, roasted coffee, chalk, wild berries and crème de cassis. Very dense and muscular with high concentration, a good degree of freshness and massive but finely polished tannin, layers of chalky dark fruit, cassis, plum and cherry with some moch and oak derived spiciness on the finish. Very long and persistent with plenty of power and potential.
