Medium deep purple colour. Peppery and spicy notes, Chinese herbs, aniseed, dark plum and cassis. The palate has medium weight, still youthful and restrained fruit, ripe tannin, a fresh acidity with peppery and spicy flavours, and a medium to long finish. Still a bit on the restrained side needing time.
