Dense young colour but rather red than purple. The nose is already fairly open with a spectrum from red to black currant with some new oak, dry spices and mild oak. Well-built and muscular palate, still youthful but no hard edges, tannins that will slowly soften add freshness to the ripe red fruit flavours. Structured for long ageing with a fine persistency.
