France,
Bordeaux,
Red wine with a medium deep colour, ruby-red; fairly youthful appearance but not too dense in colour. The nose is offering some hints of dry spices, a hint of leather here with sweet plum, some herbal notes as well. In terms of structure I would call it a quite traditional style here, no noticeable oak; medium weight with a high acidity, and not too pronounced but still present tannin. It’s still appearing a bit young, a bit restrained here, with sour red cherry, red berry fruit, some spicy notes, and a medium towards long finish. A wine I would certain like to put away in a cellar for a few more years to open up.
