France,
Bordeaux,
Moderate colour intensity, ruby-red. Generous nose, displaying red and dark fruity aromas. Blackcurrant, redcurrant. Fine wood with a slight toastiness, some coffee bean, tobacco leaf. Medium weight on the palate. Quite a classic structure, with elegant red and dark fruit, underlined by a slight spiciness. Fine oak, cedar wood and tobacco. Quite youthful, but I think the texture is just about to start to round off the edges. So I would say this is quite approachable today. In a classic style without exaggerations. Good oak, elegant fruit. Quite long on the finish. Certainly a wine that will continue for quite a long time.
