France,
Bordeaux,
A youthful wine with a dense core, still with a blue-purple hue. Quite intense nose, nicely roasted here with hints of espresso and coffee bean, underlined by a lot of lush dark berry fruit; like plum, blackberry with a slight hint of oak. Palate has a fairly high concentration, dense fruit here. It still appears quite young on the palate. We still have a presence of tannin, but not harsh in a way, just still youthful and vigorous. Good freshness as well. Nice density of fruit there with juicy, dark plum and blackberry flavours. Really with a dominance of that fruit right now. There is a slight hint of oak in the background. Good density on the finish as well. Rather persistent, or I should say- persistent; I mean it certainly has length. It has a length, it has weight, it has a good balance. I would just call it a little bit young , it would still in my mind need some more time for the tannin to dissolve and to gain a little bit more complexity. None of the less, I find potential.
