Dense purple core. Pure nose, modern with ripe dark fruit, new oak, coffee and tobacco. Rather full palate, dense dark fruit with crushed cassis and plum notes, rich in tannin, still on the youthful side but well-built with fresh dark fruit and a long lingering finish.
