Red wine with a certain evolution. It is starting to lose some colour at the rim, but the core is pretty dense with a ruby-red nuance. Very expressive nose, it has some complexity, some evolution there. Very nice roasted notes like coffee bean, mocha, spicy notes and quite sweet fruit, like red currant and plum. Palate has a classic medium weight, yet with a quite inky core of fruit. Quite dense fruitiness. There is a good degree of tannin as well, but I think they are rather settled today. Still with a youthful freshness to it. A good degree of acidity and quite multi-layered in terms of fruit; those red berries, red currant notes. Fine spiciness on the finish, some notes of tobacco, leather. Quite long finish. A very classic style with a good degree of drinkability today.
