Deep ruby red core and a lighter rim. Youthful nose offering red and dark berries with aromatic herbs, tobacco and crème de cassis. Savoury medium bodied palate with fine layers and a fresh backbone, bright dark fruit, fine spiciness and well-concealed oak, and a long and layered finish. Still a bit youthful and unresolved but fine potential, savoury and fresh with good stuffing.
