Medium deep ruby red colour. Quite woody nose, vanilla oak and dry spices with sweet dark fruit. The palate has medium weight, rather austere texture with dry tannin, sharp acidity and jammed fruit flavours, a bit abrupt finish, should get some more time to rounden and soften.
