Quite low colour intensity here. Medium deep, tawny orange. Pure nose. Rather traditional style here with a slight hint of oak. The fruit is rather on the dried fruity side, like dried cherry, Roséhip, with some spicy peppery notes and a gentle floral touch. Medium weight on the palate. Quite discreet fruit. More on the dried fruity side with a high extract, pronounced tannin. No noticeable oak, but a quite long finish. A wine that I think still feels a bit youthful and tight. It should gain more colour and harmony from some further ageing. The aftertaste the fruit is opening up adding a bit more roundness and fine spiciness. A wine I would put back in my cellar for one to three more years, from then on it should drink pretty fine.
