Dark garnet still with a purple hue. The nose displays some new oak almond and dry spices with dark plum and cherry. The palate is rather full, still on the extracted side with grippy young tannin, dark fruit with peppery notes, some new oak notes and a long meaty finish, still a bit restrained but fine material for further ageing.
