Inky impenetrable purple colour. Ripe and dark fruity nose with fine nuance showing violet, blackberry, cassis, some herbal spice notes with discreet oak and fine tobacco. The palate is nicely built dense and concentrated with fine extraction, ripe tannin, layers of savoury dark fruit, aniseed, discreet wood and a long powerful finish.
