Dark ruby purple hue. Layered nose with spicy notes, pepper, mint, bay leaf, creme de cassis and blackberry. The palate is dense and rounded with moderate tannin, a hint of sweetness, ripe dark fruit, mild spices, integrated oak and a rather long, supple finish. Generous and rounded with plenty of stuffing.
