Adega de Pegoes – Grande Reserva – 2013
Peninsula de Setubal

Portugal,
Peninsula de Setubal,
Inky black core with a lighter rim. Ripe and floral nose with violet, black fruits, tobacco, liquorice and sweet spices. The palate is still youthful and restrained with grippy tannin, plenty of dark fruit, a hint of oak and generous spiciness, and a long and dense finish. Ambitious but still needing some time to open, should develop well considering its density and fruit.
