Inky dark purple colour. Pure nose showing bright dark fruit, new oak, vanilla and butterscotch notes. Very concentrated palate with a dense texture, plenty of fine tannin, high ripeness, some alcoholic warmth, Kirsch, dark berries and cassis flavours. Intense and long finish. Still restrained and tight but with the structure to develop, nothing harsh or heavy, just a bit youthful should develop nicely.
